Our Why
Over 193 Million children are suffering from hunger and malnutrition worldwide. The effects of chronic malnutrition can limit development, learning and the future ability to earn a living.
2,4 billion people living in rural areas, do not have access to nutritious, safe and sufficient food year round.
Through our kitchen model children can receive a daily nutritious meal thereby creating a ‘nutritional safety net’ preventing the devastating effects of malnutrition.
Our Impact
We are community focussed. We feed over 900 children per day to ensure happier and healthier communities and schools. We also enable platforms for people to volunteer bringing communities together in support of the fight against hunger and malnutrition.
Our vision is to establish as many kitchens as possible in impoverished communities so that thousands of children are well nourished and cared for. Strengthening immune systems and filling tummies reduces the financial strain on impoverished households and provides support for children to build a better future for themselves and their families.

THE THREE BUILDING BLOCKS
To KHULANUTRTITION
KhulaBar
A food bar fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals delivering a balanced meal with no preparation required.
KhulaVite
A multi-nutrient powder containing vitamins, minerals, probiotics and immune boosters in a delicious Raspberry flavour.
KhulaBowl
A wholesome porridge containing 55 key nutrients in a 50g serving and 5 great flavours to choose from.
Our Process
We raise funds through various channels to implement food provisions programs and ensure sustainability.
Our Process
We produce and supply our Kitchens and schools with porridge. From factory to Kitchen we ensure that all our Kitchens are stocked for 30 days in advance and international kitchens for 180 days.

We are able to monitor all provision with solar CCTV cameras and provide full financial transparency to donors.

Porridge is prepared and provided to children ensuring that 100% of porridge in our networks is delivered directly to children with zero wastage/theft.

Our process is simple: We raise funds, produce product and provide to communities in need through our Kitchen Model.
In South Africa we create employment opportunities for women from impoverished communities to facilitate our distribution and earn a living to better provide for their families.
